launch portable virtual box from cd-rom

Can i launch Portable Virtual Box from Cd-rom (read only drive) ? if yes, how i can do this?
I changed portable-virtualbox.au3 script for mapping logs to temp directory, but i have a error "failed to open image "F:\xp32.vdi' for writing due to wrong permissions (VERR_VD_IMAGE_READ_ONLY)." Can i fix this ?
