Portable VirtualBox with bridged adapter?

Hello, I love this portable version of virtualbox. I have been running the installed version for some time, then just updated to ver 4 and just yesterday realized there was an updated portable installer for it. I'm very happy. However, I noticed that when attempting to configure my network adapters under settings, I can only choose NAT. When I ran installed version, I was able to choose bridged adapter and choose the adapter to bridge it to. Now when I choose bridged adapter, and click the dropdown list to see adapters to bridge to, there are none listed. I am using windows 7 ultimate 64bit, with windows xp sp3 32bit guest OS. Please help. Thank you.

I have the same problem.
You are using an old version of the starter. Just download update and copy them to the folder of portable VirtualBox.

Edit:
Updating will not help, I was wrong. I can choose different types of networking(Bridged, NAT) but I didn't get any real connection(none is listed in dropdown).
